Wow, what a night! We had so much fun! 169 Browncoats in the
house with 153 tix sold in advance.... A Big Thank you to all of you who
came and also to those who helped in various ways that made this a
success (posting on the web, helping out last night, donating items,
making signs, etc)
Highlights:
- A costume contest
- Firefly game
- Lots of shiny prize drawing/door prizes!
- Souvenir tickets for everyone
- Plus hanging out with such a large group of very nice people
What We Raised
We managed to keep our costs about the same as last year and we
raised about $1000more this year. We had a prize drawing, plus
merchandise sales and raised some more that way. Here's our stats:
Tickets sold on site: $1,273
Pre Sales and Online tix: $3,093
T-Shirt sales: $805
Prize Drawing Tickets: $222
Auction: $662
Subtotal $6,055.00
Costs:
- $600 (Theater Rental)
- $250 (Film screening permission)
- $36.85 (ticket printing)
- $286.11 (T-Shirt/Merchandise)
- $122.33 (Misc expenses - Paypal, Volunter rebates, supplies)
Grand total raised: $4,759.71 - For Equality Now: $3,827.77 - For ACFB: $931.94 - 175 lb of food
