Our group started in the Fall of 2005 and since then we've held three successful theatrical screenings of Serenity for our charity Equality Now. Membership dues will help make the upkeep of our website and meetup.com more equitable (instead of having the burden fall on a few volunteers), plus we'll be able to plan our screening better if we know we already have the money to pay for the theater!
